Pen Pearson lives in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where she teaches at Northern State University. Her writing has appeared in various journals and anthologies, including New Writing and The Working Poet. She has published two books of poems, Trespass to Chattel (2009) and Poetry as Liturgy (2010). The forthcoming Bloomsbury’s Late Rose, the story of the poet Charlotte Mew, is her first novel.
